VideoSinner's SongApr 13, '08 12:23 PM
for everyone
This is a song I wrote in late 2005. I recorded the video in February 2006 just so I wouldn't lose the song. I realized it will be ages before I get around to recording it, so I thought I'd post it in this rough state....it's pretty rough, I make some mistakes and my singing voice is..well...my singing voice...

I'm not sure what to make of some of my songs after my loss of faith. But I'm proud of the writing on this one, and it's the first (and maybe only) full song I've written on the dulcimer.

I can see it! (And it sounds really good). There's a really long (several seconds) blank screen at the beginning though before it starts, so someone might click on it and think it's not playing.

The second time I watched it, no long blank space at the beginning ... so ignore what I just said...

Still no speakers. Now I really have to get them back from Alex. I've always thought the songs you've written (whether completed or not) are great. I always have found them very moving.

I'd like to hear this right now, but I'm very much enjoying my limited web access vacation. I am looking forward to hearing it properly when I get back.

As for what you've written before versus after. Let me chew on that for a bit ...

Elijah is very impressed with his daddy being on the 'puter'.

I've always liked your songs too.,.

I am flooded with times we spent (pre-AB) "doing music" and discussing ideas (and I'm still annoyed at that Celine Dion hussy for stealing my riff). VERY good music - I'd like to see the finished music video for this one. . .hint hint

I finally got some time today....surprise !! to catch up on a few areas, slipping into here was one of them. So glad I did. I so very much enjoyed your song. Lately I am struggling with a thought. I do not expect God to pave the way to a gravy life as if given there would be nothing to look forward to in heaven. However, this is my thought.....I feel I put a reasonable effort forth to be concerning, helpful, considerate and hard working and in turn question why when Satan enters my world so many times.....why doesn't God put his foot out and trip him here and there as he goes by in my direction. Just on the little things, the small things that cause our days to be so crazy. I do not ask for large changes....just not so many dropping, spilling, time busy schedule demands, tripping, or hitting my head. I am sure Satan is saying watch this......then...hee...heee.hee....
