for everyone
I wish I could find a CD of Platinum Blonde's first album. I know they used to exist, but anything other than the greatest hits is hard to find these days. These were CD's that I'd listened to over and over and over again.

Included here is the entire "Alien Shores" CD as well as whatever I could find on the Greatest Hits CD from the first album.

Somewhere I have the "Contact" album on CD, but other than the title song, that one never drew me in.

I hope you enjoy!

Talk about getting into the Wayback machine. I am a snot-nosed thirteen year-old again, looking out the window of our Winnipeg apartment at the snow falling, listening to my walkman, and wondering what the rest of my life was going to be like. .. it doesn't really matter.

So we're not allowed to download anymore? Sigh. I forgot how much I missed this music! Thanks, James, for the flashback to dorm rooms and Saturday nights. . .

What do you mean not allowed to download? Really? It won't let you?

Ah...I see...I just logged out to see what this would like if the website didn't know it was me, and the download links are removed!

I think I have to go get my greatest hits cd now! I LOVED Platinum Blonde, it's nice to know I'm not alone, my husband thinks I'm crazy and my kids won't listen to them with me!

One of the few bands I did not see live. Odd, because they were a huge part of my music in the 80s.

I think that's because a good chunk of our concert attendance was in the early nineties, and I think they had folded by then.

You can still see them. They played in Victoria last New Year's Eve.

At the current gas prices, Victoria might be a stretch for me.

At current gas prices, the corner gas station might be a stretch for me. . .
